Obeležje žrtvam prometnih nesreč v Sloveniji, Ljubljana / Road traffic victims memorial in Slovenia

Kadar se posebej posvetimo obeležjem, pomnikom posebnih dogodkov ali osebnosti, njihovi funkciji, pomenom in estetskemu videzu se spomnimo besed, ki jih je zapisal Ludwig Wittgenstein. Mislec, ki je bil mojster logične govorice je oznanjal, da smisel etike in estetike razkriva neizrekljivo.

Obeležje žrtvam prometnih nesreč v Sloveniji je v žlahtnem domačem kamnu izoblikovana prispodoba valovanja naših življenj, ki jih nesrečni trenutek za vedno zaustavi ali tragično spremeni.

Neizrekljivost nakazuje še več oblikovnih, arhitekturnih sporočil, ki segajo onkraj vsakdanjosti in pragmatičnosti v obzorja pomenskosti in duhovnosti. Tako inverzija, v kateri najtrši granit, kamen, ki je tog in statičen, vzvalovi, postane gibek in fluiden. Zamisel torej, v kateri so v kamnu izoblikovani, ujeti valovanje, gibanje in pretok, kakršni so kamnu najbolj tuji. Pretok in valovanje, ki bi bila v tekočini ali v voljnih, gibljivih in upogljivih gradivih povsem vsakdanja, tako postaneta monumentalizirana in že po sebi posvečena. Dodatno sporočilnost posvečenosti dodaja druga inverzija. V njej sta teža in snovnost kamna dematerializirani. Kamniti deli niso več na tleh, kamor so vedno postavljeni in od koder so odlomljeni, ampak so privzdignjeni nad horizont, kjer kot brez lastne teže lebdijo nad arkadijsko pokrajino obodnega parka pokopališča. Tako zapuščajo sfero težnosti, snovnosti in racionalnosti in prehajajo v območje iracionalnega, duhovnega in simboličnega.

Poseben dotik neizrekljivosti so prav za to obeležje izoblikovani sijajni stihi akademika Nika Grafenauerja.

Flow and waves which would be in liquid or in willing, moveable and flexible materials mundane become meaningful and ordained. Dematerialization of stone weight and presence add to a second inversion where the stone parts are no longer on the ground where they are traditionally located and from where they are broken off, but are elevated above the horizon weightlessly hovering above the Arcadian landscape of circumferential Park of the Cemetery. Thus leaving the realm of gravity, substantiality, rationality and passing into the irrational, spiritual and symbolic.

A specific dimension was added by the carved verses by academician Niko Grafenauer, a famous Slovenian poet and writer.
